We fully prepare all documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, and other bindings as necessary. We can collate, remove items that don’t need to be scanned (sticky notes, etc.), repair tears, flatten curled pages, and ensure that our scanning process captures a readable image. During scanning, a preliminary quality control (QC) process is performed as the scanning technician fine tunes brightness and contrast settings and ensures there are no double feeds or missed pages.
After scanning, a thorough and rigorous QC process is performed. Each image is evaluated by a technician for readability, proper image orientation, blank page deletes, and other issues that may affect quality.

We offer hand-keyed indexing or can also use zonal optical character recognition (OCR) to extract data and populate index fields. Though the former is typically more reliable and accurate, we can help you determine the best option for your documents. We can meet your indexing requirements or advise you on the fields that will be most beneficial for the project. Typical index fields include: names, dates, identification numbers, document types, Social Security numbers, and department names. We also offer full page optical character recognition, making your documents fully text searchable. We can also perform match and merge processes to sync existing metadata with scanned images.
